Applications

Interview people in Apply to Join group chats, then accept one id.

You will

New people are interviewed in a group chat before they get in.

Examples use the default prefix, a comma.

Before you start

• Discord Request to Join is already on in Server Settings, Safety Setup.
• You are the server owner or an antinuke admin.

Set it up

1. Read the status. Bare atj shows whether Apply to Join is on, the worker, and the last error.

2. Add the worker token. The worker account needs Kick Members. Add the token, then set how many staff must be in the chat.

3. Turn it on. Turning Apply to Join on turns auto accept off so the two paths do not race.

4. Accept one person. Accept takes a user id. There is no bulk accept.

Do not

• Do not paste the worker token in a public channel.

Troubleshooting

• If the worker never joins the chat, the token was rejected or the account cannot see the server.
• If someone is approved instantly, auto accept is still on. Apply to Join turns it off when you enable interviews.

Verify it works

• Status says Apply to Join is on.
• A test request opens a group chat.
• Accepting the id lets that person in once.
