Last.fm

Link a Last.fm username and show what is playing.

You will

Your Last.fm username is linked and ,fm can read it.

Examples use the default prefix, a comma.

Before you start

  • The server has a Last.fm API key configured for near.

Set it up

  1. Link your username. Use the Last.fm username, not the Discord name.
    ,fm set username
  2. Show what is playing. Bare fm reads the linked account. Mention someone to read theirs.
    ,fm
  3. Unlink. Clear removes the username from your near profile.
    ,fm clear

See it in Discord

member

near help card. Same syntax and example the bot shows for `,help fm`.

Examples

,fm set username
,fm
,fm @user

Troubleshooting

  • If near says Last.fm is not configured, the API key is missing on the host.
  • A username with spaces or symbols is rejected. Use the public Last.fm name.

Verify it works

  • After set, ,fm shows a track or says nothing is playing.
