Stay in sync

Deploys do not rewrite the server. ,reload applies shipped updates you opt into.

You will

You know when Discord will change after an update: only when you ask.

Examples use the default prefix, a comma.

Before you start

  • You can manage the server. Invite and logs already work.

Set it up

  1. What a deploy does. Updates never move roles or change channels on their own.
  2. Bare reload. Run ,reload to apply the latest filter and antilink updates.
    ,reload
  3. Optional pieces. Filter, antilink, polls, fake permissions, layout, and voice each have their own reload. Layout and polls only run if this server picked an official near template.
    ,reload filter

This is the help card for this command. It uses the same syntax and example as `,help`.

,help reload

nearAPP

Command: reload

Apply the latest near updates to this server.

Syntax

,reload [all|embeds|filter|antilink|polls|fp|layout|vc]

Example

,reload
near help card. Same syntax and example the bot shows for `,help reload`.

Examples

,reload
,reload all
,reload filter

Do not

  • Do not run reload layout on a custom server expecting a full rebuild.

Troubleshooting

  • If nothing visible changed, you only synced filter words. That is expected.
  • If you wanted rooms rebuilt, that is a setup command, not reload.

Verify it works

  • Run ,reload. Confirm Discord roles did not jump around on their own.
